“Despite 10 years of working out on machines, I came to Riverside Muscular Therapy with significant skeletal issues, chronic pain and poor core strength. Today, I am 59 years old pain free and can do all the sports I did as a kid!!

Sincere thanks RMT.”

Mark L Perkins, NMT, CSCS, CKTP, FAKTR, FM

Graduate of Pace University 1987 and the Swedish Institute College of Allied Sciences 1996. I own and operate Riverside Muscular Therapy, LLC. My vision is to position individuals within my business who take a personal stake in the fitness, athletic and wellness industry. The trainers, coaches, and therapists at my facility are solely responsible for the development and care of their clients. I provide a facility for them to develop their passion.

I have pursued my interests of Neuromuscular Therapy, Kinesio Taping, and Fascial Manipulation. I am one of the founding members of the Facial Research Society. Fascial Manipulation is one of the fastest growing fields in physical rehabilitation. I continue to expand my knowledge of manual therapies in order to help all of my clients to enjoy healthy and active lifestyles.

I have been working as a massage therapist since 1997, specializing in Trigger Point, Neuromuscular and Myo-fascial Release techniques for soft tissue pain and injuries. My style of massage is a unique combination of techniques and theories that I have developed over the years. These theories and techniques come not only from massage but from years of self study and research in biological movement. It is this combination of skills that allows me to relate to clients who are dealing with specific injuries, particularly sports injuries.

” Riverside Muscular Therapy and Advanced Athletic Development were essential to helping me achieve my on-field goals by providing in depth analysis of my body type and creating a specific gym workout and nutritional plan. I was able to gain the necessary weight and strength to play semi-professional rugby.”
